    Hi.

    Since SNES9x_starter is not supporting newest SNES9x version, maybe someone could do newer version of SNES9x_starter, or completely new GUI. I know there is filetype added, but let's say it's like only prothesis and not right thing.

    It can be just newer SNES9x_Starter, but maybe more ambitious one can make something like is for AmigaOS 4.x?

    Well... I'm not that interested about SNES games etc, but as I have some experience of making a GUI launcher, maybe I'll take a look... should be quite straightforward, but boring :)

    Let me guess, in Hollywood? :-)

    By the way Andreas already did it, but this was just before his creation of Hollywood.

    I cloned the more abitious one and added Zip support in the GUI, because Snes9x 1.53 doesn't seem to be compiled with the built-in zip support.

    I still have to figure out how to configure input devices... OS4's launcher has tons of configuration options for input, snes9x_starter doesn't have any, Snes9x 1.53 shows "-port# <control>" argument with some controller options, and Snes9x 1.53 example conf file (snes9x.conf) has tons of options under "Unix/X11 Controls" section, but do these affect on MorphOS?

    So, I'd like to hear comments and design suggestions from people who have actually used this program earlier :) Do you want any controller configs in the GUI?

    To celebrate the launch of jPV's new GUI launcher, I have prepared a custom collection of over 30 privately patched SNES games, which can be downloaded HERE :)

    The games should be compatible with other platforms too. I'll try to keep the link up, as much as possible.

    If you choose version 1.43 (which is faster and more lightweight) you must explicitly set "-buffersize 4096" (without the quotation marks) on Settings/Custom arguments, otherwise you 'll witness extreme sound distortion. Furthermore it's strongly advised to set AHI Playback at 44 khz.

    @jPV

    Got your GUI, the RPOM pack and Snes9x_1.53. Whenever I select a game in the lister I get a HollywoodPlayer-requester "Table expected in argriment 1! File:SNESMUI.hws (current line: 80 - In Function RawGet()" after which the whole app closes.
