Porting SyncTerm?

Hi, I'm new to MorphOS and I've just tried using DCTelnet to connect to some BBS's, I'm using a Powerbook G4 and the OS seems to be running really well but DCTelnet just isn't very good by modern standards.
Any chance someone would like to port Syncterm over to MorphOS? It would be a really good way of getting hold of Amiga and other vintage software from the various BBS's out there or are there any better alternatives?

There was some talk about it some years back but didn't amount to anything apparently.

A shame, I think anything that would make MorphOs more appealing and the software resources more accessible would be a good thing.
When you consider that the BBS's are usually storing software for the retro machines that are emulated in MorphOs, surely it makes sense?
