    Hi everyone
I like computer science in general
I decided to buy a Mac mini G4 to use Morphos 3.11
later I will purchase the license once I have tried the system.
these days I changed my purchase
    this is the configuration
    g4 1.33
    1gb ram
    9200 32 ram
    hd 40gb
    mac system installed
    keyboard
    monitor
    mouse
    vga cable adpter
at the moment I can only use the cable connection
if possible I would have a simple question:
once the license has been purchased, can the system be used off-line without time-out?
the settings made remain at reboot of the system without a license?
what card and recommended for wifi with morphos? (mac mini)
    sorry for these questions,
I have to order the mac mimi tomorrow

Thanks for any suggestions, and your help

You can use the system offline all you want once you have a license. The license isn't checked online.

The only limitation to MorphOS pre-registration, as far as I know, is that it is time-limited. It is fully functional otherwise.

    hi KennyR
Thanks for the reply, and your advice
for the wifi adapter you have suggestions.
I read about the airport to use wifi.
Or we recommend another peripheral for the Mac mini? (morphos)
    thank you.

As I've never owned a Mac Mini or used wifi on MorphOS I'll have to let someone else help you there, sorry.

But I've used wifi bridges in the past like the Netgear WNCE3001 (which is now really old, so don't bother trying to get one). These things work with anything that has an ethernet port and are extremely reliable. (Edit: oops! I said unreliable. They're not!)

Try a wifi card first, and if that doesn't work for you, try a wireless bridge.

In terms of internal solution, thereā€˜s only Apple's official WiFi+Bluetooth kit for the Mac mini G4. Search for the part number M9870z/A.
