Hey, I was just comparing disk I/O on my laptop when I plug in an external USB hard drive.
The throughput is over three times higher (almost four times actually) using a USB 3.0 interface then when using a USB 2.0 port.
The chip used Renesas UPD720202, so basically its a latter day NEC component (most of us are using NEC based USB 2.0 cards).
So, how hard would it be to develop USB 3.0 drivers for MorphOS?
