Actually the interesting comment (to me) from my link was:

    Quote:

Another eBay member notified us that your listing used their copyrighted image or text without permission.

I read "another" as being a different individual, no?

Seriously, I'd like to see the exact image and/or text that was called into question.

And if it was a "company" that notified him, "which" company would also interest me.

I read it as "another member than you, the addressee".

    > if it was a "company" that notified him, "which" company would also interest me.

He was notified by eBay, who beforehand were notified by "another eBay member".

"another eBay member" could be a company or an individual, its not specified.

I stand corrected. It was indeed the FreePascal SoftFPU benchmarked there, with some comparison to the ASM SoftFPU in the last paragraph. I guess that's what had me confused, beside the naming as 'SoftFPU' for both solutions by the author of the article.
Finally, there's now a benchmark comparison of the ASM SoftFPU (meanwhile called 'femu') vs. the FreePascal SoftFPU running on Vampire by the same author:

amigadave, you should search in unsatisfied customers who don't get MMU and fpu.
    There are many of them.

    Oh My God !!!
Vampire with SoftFPU is almost one hundred times slower than 68060 50 MHz in float operations, and almost seventy times slower than 68060 50 MHz in double operations.
Even I don't suppose it could be so bad.
No wonder, so some people are so upset.

Really? What percent of Vampire owners are unsatisfied, and would prefer to have a refund of their money, instead of continuing to use their Vampire accelerator?

I searched the Internet for "unsatisfied vampire accelerator owners" and guess how many I found? ZERO! I went to the official Vampire forums and searched for the key words, "unsatisfied", "unhappy", "angry", and they all returned ZERO results.

I guess there are so many unsatisfied vampire accelerator owners out there that they have broken the Internet search function of Google, making it impossible to find them.

Yes, amigadave you should search in unsatisfied vampire owners.
    Keywords are MMU, FPU.
    for example, google search:

    vampire mmu fpu site:www.amiga.org

first hit, and you get thread with some pissed off vampire owners.

amigadave you have to work on google search.

    ...or Salva? :-)

"The vampire fpga is up to this point an illegal product, that did not pay licences on behalf of their own quote in a Video to HDMI organisation, Amiga OS, Kickstart, Intel, Motorola, P96 and they do not have any legal WEEE Nr. registration needed to have a license to sell any electonical product like a simple toaster, nor do they have a legal company and tax and vat numbers and a lot lot more of braking laws and fault plays that we are going to show off briefly in a statement to open the eyes to the Amiga Community seemingly totally blended by guys that are promising things like walking on water and turning water into wine, believing every single word like a 2 years old baby."

"What we are going to have is a briefly statement regarding fpgas. Those who think they can use lies and missleading information to undermine native 68k and even PPC products on a large scale in public to sell their product, must expect some reaction and we will do this in a lot of terms starting now."

If one want ot use HDMI in their product, must pay ridiculous license fee.
Are You sure vampire makers pay HDMI organisation?

"HDMI royalty rates are [...] fifteen cents (US$0.15) per unit sold. If the Adopter reasonably uses the HDMI logo on the product and promotional materials, then the rate drops to five cents (US$0.05) per unit sold."
    http://www.hdmi.org/manufacturer/terms.aspx

    Ridiculously low, isn't it?

    > Are You sure vampire makers pay HDMI organisation?

I don't know whom they pay for what, or if at all, and I sure didn't make any claim in this regard.

You forget about annual fee - USD 5000 for small-volume manufacturers (10,000 units or less)

Google search doesn't show me anything, except one or two links to Amiga.org, or EAB forum threads, so I read through a couple of threads there (which was all I could stomach), and found that there are 4 or maybe 5 people who are upset about the lack of an FPU, or the poor performance of the SoftFPU. Let's see, if you divide 4,000 by 4 one tenth of one percent. I think most companies would kill for any product that had such a low number of unsatisfied customers.

If you have proof of more angry Vampire owners, then show me the links to where they are located. There might be another 4 or 5 that I don't know about, which might make the total two tenths of one percent.

All your rants are such a joke, but you fail to see how few people really believe in what you are trying to convince all of us of.

So dear dave finally you found people pissed off by lack of MMU and FPU in vampire.

After 10 years of lies and false promises gunnar von boehn has something which is as fast as 68060 50 MHz in integer operations, 20 times slower in float operations, and one and only thing in which vampire is better than more than 20 years old 68060 cards for amiga is 6 times faster RAM.

Our community has cheap and compatible amiga solution since year 2000.
It is uae with jit. In year 2000 on cheap pc on uae one can get 4 times better performance than 68060 50 MHz, and RAM as fast as vampire has today.
gunnar von boehn promise revolution, but after all, what he has is shit 4 times slower than uae on cheap pc from year 2000.

It almost seems as if you were on a private vendetta against Gunnar because he promised something a long time ago.
I believe promising something and not holding it can happen to anyone of us. Not that this is a good thing, but it happens.
Just let it go, man. Wasted energy pursuing this.
