Ah, you changed the reference. This explains it. My posting you replied to and all figures therein refer solely to the accomplishment(s) of the money collection campaign(s), which started in June 2017, not about when the respective work will be accomplished. Even if my estimation for the collection of the additional 16000 EUR of mid to late 2024 will come true, this won't say anything about the completion of the actual work, which might take years longer or even forever.
Functional prototype within 10 years from project start (2014) is still in reach in my opinion, but a sellable product certainly isn't. It surely doesn't help that SLIMBOOK has EOL'd the selected Eclipse chassis.

    Update:

    > NXP claims T2080 availability until 2027

I just found that in April or May (narrowed down by using Wayback Machine), T2080 availability has been prolonged by further 8 years to 2035 as per NXP's Product Longevity. This should be sufficient for this project ;-)
    (The same was done for T4160, T2081, T1042, T1040, T1022 and T1020, btw.)

    Addendum:

    > Prototypes ready now.

Prototype board was shown (not running) by ACube at Amiga 38 as "Amiga PowerPC Laptop", see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODnSaem7ow4 (5:09-5:18). The "8 core" claim is false of course, as it's 4-core with 2 threads each, so 8 threads.
Interesting statement: "Will be compatible with: [...] MorphOS [...]". I'm not sure whether that's to mean that MorphOS will also be compatible with this board ;-)

"More recently chip prices seem to be coming back to more reasonable prices, with the exception of the Marvell Sata3 controller. As a consequence, we are evaluating the removal of the Marvell Sata3 controller to both free very-much needed space space and save some costs because at the moment such a chip costs around 90 euros per piece, quite a lot. In fact, nowadays most SSD are available at a very good price with the M.2 form factor, so a Sata3 connection is not that essential anymore. People in a desperate need for a Sata connection could use the two Sata2 controllers inside the T2080 CPU."

Meanwhile, the financial state of all campaigns/phases is as follows:

I_0. 12600 EUR: Electrical schematics [accomplished]
    I_1A. 19000 EUR: PCB [accomplished]
I_1B. 5000 EUR: Fast SI bus simulations [accomplished]
    I_2. 13500 EUR: Prototypes [accomplished]
    I_3. 14000 EUR: Testing [accomplished]
    I_4. 12500 EUR: Certification [accomplished]
II_1. 1000 EUR: JTAG debugger [accomplished]
    II_2. 5000 EUR: U-Boot [17% done]
II_3. 10000 EUR: Heat pipes [open]
