We are producing the cases now. The first ones will be black, but this can be any color. The prototype is shown on the left (already black). The final design is in the center loaded up and before painting. They will be on sale soon.

    Cheers!

    R&B :)

Thats good. Actually I already started working on an Efika case at work but luckily I just designed and modelled the case in hurry and didnt spend much time in doing details.

Now we're on the way to having a very sellable product, and can get MorphOS out there in a big way! And yes, there's another platform for Linux too ;-)

I do wonder where they got the idea for those big buttons from, however... They look almost like the big buttons on my case :-) But this one's still better than mine-it has both halves!

    Great case, guys!

    Yes, looking good.
Perhaps i'll come back to Mos soon.

But where is the power supply and the CD-Rom?
    Where to put the hdh?

Anyway, sell it with all these components
and you will get another ex-mos-user back.

    regards

    eliot

BTW 256 Mb Ram would be great ;)

Count in all those who didn't check their heatsinks. ;-)

Awesome, well with the EFIKA and it's low price, it looks like I will be joining the Morph OS community.

I definitely plan to buy one! I'm excited, so I just had to post!
    8-)

i just hope the price for the case won't be as high as Blastwave told me a few weeks ago. (around 120$)
The Efika won't be cheap anymore with such a case price.

BBRV posted somewhere a breakdown of this price, and it was justified. The case included a PicoPSU, which represents half of that cost alone...

    Velcro_SP:
The PSU is there. Or well, the converter is sitting in the ATX
power connector. The little round connector on the back-side
(down-left) is where you plug any standard 12V PSU into.
I have a 3A (max 36W) that I use with my EFIKA and picoPSU.

There are no practical CD-ROM options for the EFIKA. It's is
a network device - not a standard desktop machine.

The USB is way too slow for any USB CD-ROM usage. It's
    OK for booting a Linux-kernel from USB-stick, but that's
    about it.
