id Software has made an update of its Quake II source coed available in GitHub
    News here for example:

    And available here:

It will be possible for MorphOS or it is very complex?

I have 2 versions of Quake 2 for AmigaOS 4.1,one with sound and the other without I think.

What importance has to have a Morphos version?

This release is about the 2023 enhanced version, based on the KEX engine. However, I'm not sure whether this is really the proper source code that could be used to port the game to MorphOS or just enough source to enable creation of mods for the game on platforms it already runs on.

Andreas is right on the money, only the game logic got open sourced, not the KEX engine it is running on. It's only for modding purposes.
This is just like television, only you can see much further.

It seems to me that it already works well I don't see any use

As assumed by me and confirmed by BSzili, it indeed is of no use for MorphOS because the game engine source code is still closed. Whether a MorphOS port of the completely and properly released source code of the 2023 enhanced version including the engine was of any use would depend on the requirements (3D API, graphics drivers etc.) and on personal preference, of course.
