Why "other than the PowerPC"? Shouldn't this rather read "such as the PowerPC" or "other than the 68k"?


Edit: Some more on that. Seems he really means it, e.g. x86 and ARM.

Yes, and Evert held Hyperion shares until 2018, the very year we discussed this. Who'd have thought.

"I did not fund Hyperion in the lawsuit against Amiga Inc in 2007. I did provide a little money to help pay the for the Hyperion developers and funded my own developer donation scheme to supply hardware to key OS4 developers. Anyone who is suggesting otherwise is twisting the facts to suit their own agenda, whatever that is. Based on his recent deposition, it appears that Evert Carton provided most of the funds for the defence (100k euro) and I'm sure Hermans would have provided some too? […] I provided additional funding to Hyperion in 2010, long after the lawsuit was settled, to assist the X1000 development effort."

Thanks. In my opinion the most remarkable passage from the court order:

"The Court agrees that the issue here is that Plaintiffs have tied themselves into a knot. The Court cannot change the facts before it or the parties’ admissions and cannot reconstruct an unambiguous Settlement Agreement borne out of lengthy litigation."

So it seems like team "wording" won over team "spirit".

Almost everything there is to read, I suppose ;-) I just had to catch up on AmigaDocument's big October 2022 update and some of your postings on amigaworld.net. Better (6 months) late than never ;-)

Thanks, I usually follow your postings on amigaworld.net so I've been aware of this and the Hyperion wranglings at least up until mid-2022.
