There is an x86 backend available for it called qemu (http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/) but it isn't finished yet. I'm not sure how complete it is but I've talked to a (reliable) guy who was able to run simple windows apps with it on a powermac G4 at usable speed (meaning that it was slow but not too slow).
Your best bet might be to run VirtualPC from MacOS 9.x (it's much faster than osx) in MOL until qemu get's faster.
I would recommend running MOL in a framebuffer to reduce the overhead, especially if you are running on a G3.
When qemu get's more stable/faster, and the AGP device for Pegasos is finished, it would be very interesting to drop it into WineX =).
I just noticed that qemu 0.50 has been released, maybe it works better with wine now.
