This is my first experience with Grunch 2.15 which I discovered after installing Chryssalis Pack Ultimate. on my 3.1 MorphOS partition.

I am setting my Applications paths on Settings -mainly using the Chrysalis paths- and the program would detect what is installed and what is not.

In the case of an update the Update button is not active -for example in Odyssey Web Browser: The Grunch software detects the 1.19 version but I can not see a way to update to 1.20-.

In the case of an app that is not installed on my system for example MorphVVNC the Install button is active but after I press it and confirm the installation nothing happens and a simple Not Installed message -in red letters- would appear into Status column.

So what should I do in order to update and install apps through Grunch?

    Install manually.
Run OWB and the link to the ftp site will be the default page.
Not all software or the latest updates are registered with grunch.

I did it already for the case of OWB but there are apps inside the Grunch database that are not installed on my system and when I select Install, nothing happens. So something must be wrong here!

I had this issue with grunch once.
    It went away.
I think I had to reinstall it and let it redownload the database to get it to work again.

Just a note. My smallish System-partition got full and I found out Grunch/cache had over 115mb of data in it. So check yours if you need some extra space.

The cache is required to allow installing older versions of a software using grunch (downgrading).

The path can be changed in settings. Just change the path and copy over the files.

Another (probably better) way to save space is do disable backups before installation/updating, as these files are not used by Grunch itself.
