I just notised that caps lock is not working with my keyboards, tried 2 different with same result. I checked that in usb preferences key mapping is correct (never changed it from default). Any ideas ? Everything works fine under Linux and OS X

Does capslock work with a clean MorphOS? Maybe it's disabled in mmkeyboard or some other program blocks it.

1st things 1st

Go to settings->USB->Devices

Select your keyboard and go to settings.

In the tab "action" select "track incoming events"
Now every keystroke should result in the listview jumping to the entry for that key.

Does it react on caps-lock ?

The key qualifier should be set to "toggle" and "caps lock"

so do you now have a hole in your keyboard?

Actually I removed the rubber thingy under the key, then put the key back.
So it is present, stuck deeper than other keys, but not functional.
I did the same to menu key (the one between windows key and alt).
NO MORE UPPER CASE
