    Hi

In the install doc's it says that you can install BOOT.IMG to a FFS partition
and the 2.2MorphOs system to another partion a SfS type

so to run MorphOs like this i would,

Boot hd:0(as this is my boot partition) boot.img(will this find the FFS partition)

or is there something else to the command, as it doesnt seen to boot for me..

    (Efika)

Using a separate FFS partition for your boot.img is not really necessary unless you're using a Peg1, the OF boot command needs to know where the boot.img is located, so if "ls hd:0" in OF shows your boot.img, that command should work.

Now I don't know how your hdd is partitioned, so until you give a little more info there's not much else I can tell you.

For an efika a single SFS (or FFS if you prefer that) partition for boot.img and MorphOS is the prefered setup, also the installer expects that for update installs.

    I DON'T have it booting

    loads to
    Quark/openfirmware

    then hangs

installed morphos to hd0:1 : using

boot dh1: boot.img : to run OS ,,,but it just hangs as i said above

file system FFS,, boot flag 0
