Hello guys and girls,

With the above mentioned text programs (Word Worth and Final Writer) I've got a few problems.

Can anybody tell me what I should do after installing these programs to get them working properly?

Out of my head I have had the following problems:

- Printing black on white is reversed, sothat I get white letters on a black background.
- Problems starting FW, a system lockup occurs.
- I don't see the toolbars correctly.
- I can't see the letters what I'm typing.

With FW I had under 1.3 no major problems, just minor ones (e.g. white mouse-cursor on white background), so I have no idea why it crashes at you, sorry.

WW I'm not using mywself, but you could try one or more of the following things:

- delete your old WW-prefs and configure them new
- use a 8 bit screen
- set the tooltype Picasso=true
- set the ENV-Variable forcechunky=0
- load a picture for the background to see the text

FW does not have that problem here. Please run SnoopDOS, that should help.

For WW, I would try running it on an 8-bit screen prior to printing. I seem to remember something about that concerning several programs and gfx-cards...
