Have a problem here, when I change the text size settings on the MUI buttons nothing happens, neither in the app MUI settings, global MUI settings or Ambient MUI settings...it's really annoying since my buttons are too tiny :P
Using the latest MUI4 beta from April 2007

I'm wondering if I have a broken MUI install or just a broken MUI class?

sometimes (above all after a lot of tweaking), MUI4 realtime changes, fails.

Try to apply the new font and Test it. If this fails also, save and then iconify and de-iconify the Mui app and the new entry should be displayed.

Tested it but nothing changes :-(

Actually, button size/fonts are changed except the fastlink button is IB2.4 and Ambient

You mean in MUI Prefs? there's no such font setting there

to change Ambient windows buttons, use the Ambient menu:

Settings>Ambient MUI Settings in Button >container

To change the fastlink in IB, goto IB MUI settings (from its gadget or via IB menu Preferences>MUI > Button.

Every MUI app carries its own MUI setting (indipendently from the Global MUI Settings).

    try to delete/rename the ENV:mui/<<Global>>.prefs

and if this fails, delete ENV:Mui/IBrowse.prefs.

    I'm afraid I tried to too :(

renamed both files and tried changing the font size but the fonts are still microscopic :P

    ^BUMP^

So what do you guys recommend?

A complete erase of all related MUI stuff and replace it with a clean MUI4 beta install

This problem happened after I upgraded to the latest MUI 4 Beta, I've tried copying the MUI 4 beta files to their right places again but the problem persists so it must be some old MUI 3.9 file that is incompatible with the rest of MUI4?

when you run the global MUI setting, MUI4 performs a check of your old MUI files ... it shows it in the main MUI window and let you chose if delete it.

If you have any listed in the first MUI4 section you are ok.

Only further suggestion is to Reset to default the Mui global settings (right mouse click in the MUI4 preferences first page >All Settings: Reset To Default.

and do the same in the IB MUI preferences

and anyway, compare the classes/libraries onto your HD with the one in the latest MUI4 archive.

Edit- about the "microscopic" fonts ... are you using the default TTF antialiased on a large screen? the 15 points? if this is the case, they are very little on a big screen.

Type the desired size manually (18 i.e) in the font ASL requester
