    Hi,

I have installed Sputnik, and was trying to make it run, but without
    any success.

I used Snoopium to try and figure out the problem, but I didn't see
anuthing that could explain the fact that it tries to launch, but
never opens a single window. A "Sputnik" task remains running,
    though.

I hereby attach a snoopium log. Maybe you find something that I've
    missed.

    Thanks!

Maybe it's obvious, but are you sure you have correctly installed
    MUI4?

Thanks for your input! Concerning the two points, I can only say
    that:
1)The special fonts are normally downloaded automatically, right? (It
    is downloading something)
    2) I had MUI4, but it complained that it was too old. I had installed
    the last one.

I will check on the trance library.
    Any other leads?

    -----

    Checked again:
MUI4 is latest beta from 25/04/2007, and is correctly installed
    (I've re installed it)
    Trance is the latest 50.2.

I can launch as many sputniks as I want. But none open a window!

Any other points to check? Please?

I didn't find anything weird, but I'm no specialist. Thtat is why
I've added the snoopium log to the original message.

P.D: Why does it try to open twice (and fails) ENV:muidebug?

You've left before i answered you on irc yeasterday, so i'll answer here. MOS log that you sent me was full input.device hits. It's not a Sputnik problem but a something else that is fishy in your MorphOS.

    Thanks for your answer.

input.device? this corresponds to the keyboard? where can the problem
    be?

Besides Sputnik, everything else runs perfect here.

I've reinstalled Sputnik (just in case) and the problem is the same.

    Here I put the log:

    @Marcik:

Here I have done a serial debug as you've asked me:

I hope that lets someone give me an idea about what is wrong...

    Thanks!

IIRC you must don't use in MUI prefs, the option "as parent" (or so) in the "Buttons" MUI configuration. (or something along this lines... don't remember now)

    Edit- on MUI4 now:

    Mui Preferences>Button> Container and pressed:

    unselect "Same as parent object"

Ok, it's regular question, but I have to ask it:

When will the next Sputnik release come?

What has been changed since the last release?
