    Hello MOS Team

Now that Genesi has complete dev docs for the XGI gfx cards what are the possibilities of a Cybergrafx driver??

Yes, I've seen a few on eBay.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Volari-V3-XGI-128MB-Video-4x-AGP-8X-AGP-TV-Out-NIB_W0QQitemZ250108205114QQihZ015QQcategoryZ40161QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

And it looks like it might sell for a cheap price too. It looks like its their V3 model, so I don't think it is the top of the line card for XGI. It looks to be directX 8 level, so probably about as good as anything else we have on MOS now. I'd be into giving it a try for that price.

One advantage I can think of could be mpeg acceleration and deinterlace for mpeg players.

Well this thread isnt about availability of the cards - there were tons of them produced and can be had no problem if you know how to look. The issue is do the MOS guys want to do a driver? It would make sense since apparently Genesi has the docs... would be nice to hear from them on this.

The Open Client will be onsale this month with the *RoHS compliant V3XE* XGI graphic card and with the *LEADED V3XT* for those outside of Europe. Simultaneously, we will be launching this program:

    http://www.powerdeveloper.org/program/xgi

Directron.com will also sell the cards individually, so we may just leave selling the single cards to them.

Sounds good. Have you supplied any of the MOS team with the docs for the XGI cards? Has anyone even asked?
