I have just installed Bigfoots Quake3 port and the game works like a charm.

The problem is that the loading times a ekstremly long. It takes forever to load a level. Forever mining minutes.

    I have a Peg2 1Ghz, 512 MB Ram and a Radeon 9250 so my specs a ok.

On another note. Does the defrag program in MorphOS work? When i start it I just get a emty window with no drive details.

I have a 80GB hd set to cable select. Standard hd supplied by vesalia.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you use FFS? I remember someone having a similar issue. Game would take several minutes to start on FFS. Try SFS and see if it's better.

    Thanks!

And how do I do that?

And now that I am at it. How do I change a drive from FFS to SFS. I tried to do it as I did on my old A4000 but the only result was that my DH0 drive disappeard and I had to use the MorphOS boot cd to change it back.

Sorry for all the noob questions.

Unfortunately you will lose all data when changing filesystem. Do a back up to another partition/drive/cd/dvd

True, I think it was me :) . The problem was solved
turning an ffs partition into SFS as some of you pointed out. You?ll note a big
    difference in loading times.
