    Hahaha :D

But I think we really need this browser now...
Last week I got over 5 links that I couldn't view in IBrowse (some CSS, some UTF-8, some AJAX...). :(

So, does this mean it now builds without errors, and all that remains
is to make it work, too? :-)

Anyway, getting to this point is the most boring part in my experience
(though I never attempted anything nearly this big) so that's great
    news, then.

So I'm in desperate need of a real browser :-)

I think I am still using the first Alpha release of MUI and Voyager works. Did it work on the newest release at one time and just stop now? The latest MOS native Aweb is my default browser now though. Its great and you should give it a try.

Hehe, nobody forces us to use the new MUI.
But it starts to look so incredible good, that I
dont want to go back :-)

    http://my.morphosi.net/cmcont/gallery/Robin/WBSnap.3.png

And since Voyager is, even though it's the best amiga
browser (IMHO), a deadend the decision for no longer
using it was a tough one but thanks to Stuntzis
great work with MUI I feel not sorry.

The latest MUI alpha/beta is worth the loss of Voyager.
And yes, the second choice for a browser is AWeb but
it's still years behind V and a decade behind modern browsers.

So I really look forward to khtml ... :-D

Sputnik KHTML any news or grabs ?

Am I right supposing that Sputnik might be a new name of KHTML? If yes, its sounds pretty good. :)

    :-? :-o :-?

what kind of super advanced version of V have you been using? V doesn't understand 10% of the javascript that aweb does, nor does V understand and render tables or frames as correctly as aweb does...
The only thing V has got is a tabbed interface, and tear off menus... which really doesn't make a doda when it comes to rendering/handling html (if by any chance V did manage to display any html that Aweb doesn't it's just because V is too stupid to now that it really should have quit a long time ago :-))

AWeb has the best Javascript engine in the amiga world , V is strictly 1.1 (or lower) JS, Aweb is ECMA-Script release 3 (and there is a world of difference between those two).

if anybody was stupid enough to run V after 2002 it was their loss (might as well have been running Alynx).
    :-P

I think the usual browser-flame is pointless, because all of our three browser lack the most important feature: CSS support. :( Let's wait for Sputnik, hope that it will be as good as we dream about it and when it's done, retire all our old browsers. :)

    @Wishmaster

Then you didnt hit the "delete outdated stuff"-thingie ;-)

    @beanbandit

Hehe, it all depends of POV ... IMHO, it's more
important to have a correct layout over working JS.
And the layout of V is in big parts nearly pixelexact to the
rendering of IE (Haha) so for me as someone creating websites
that should render ok in IE (because >80% use it) I used V as my main
browser ... but since CSS is more and more important for my customers
development and testing is not possible with amigabrowsers anyway.

So for real webbrowsing/-scripting I start Firefox anyway ...

Voyager is the only browser that works for my online bank. Only AWeb supports the latest AmiSSL 3 while I find IBrowse 1.22/2.3 the most user friendly but tends to crash on some sites.
