    simply a wrong/missing X config.

Just add this section in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf (or xf86config)

    Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Configured Mouse"
    Driver "mouse"
    Option "CorePointer"
    Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" # for PS/2 mouse -> "/dev/psaux"
    Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2"
    Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
    EndSection

    bye

    Also of interest maybe:

    (add as additional installation source)

The only problem is that currently one can't post to their forum (server error already reported).

So please excuse me for asking here instead:

I've got a problem with online-updates on SUSE 10. Guess it's because I didn't download the 10.0 final ISOs but the 10.1 alpha - so my fault, but maybe it can be easily fixed with your help?

    Symptoms:

    1) While the addition of additional installations sources does work for 3rd party sites (like the PPC multimedia RPMs mentioned at PPCZone), I can't add one of the SuSE mirrors. No matter how I vary the pathes and mirrors, I always get the error "no_instsrc_on_media".

So what mirror/path do you enter to keep your installation up-to-date?

    2) SuSE Watcher doesn't work here. Can't connect, although otherwise the internet connection does work (browser). Looking at the "details" output when trying an online update, it seems that it tries to connect to the URL "www.suse.de<br>".

Which configuration file do I have to edit to change this wrong entry?

(Could only find the YaST2 server files, i.e. the entries for the CD drive where I installed SuSE from and that hungarian server already mentioned.)

I'm thinking of getting a new 120GB hard drive and a removable bay for my Peg so I can install linux on it. Does Suse have a GUI installer working on the Pegasos? If not do any of the linux vers have one? I want an easy to install linux system I can play with.

    Hi Acill,

Debian is a very good linux distro and works out of the box. No fancy installer but very easy to install.
Download the latest netinstall iso here and boot your Pegasos with it. Do a basic install, you can install the software you need later with apt-get install in console or with Synaptic packetmanager in your favorite windows manager.

    @ Acill

SUSE uses YaST as Install GUI and is really easy to install.
