    You can find uae 0.8.28 cvs (25/07/2005) here :

    http://fabportnawak.free.fr/uae/e-uae-0.8.28_cvs.lha

    This version has a bit faster 68k emulation, and supports p96. Just try it.

    And thanks to tetuzo for the autoconf/automake annoying stuff :)

    Great. Now with P96 support it works much better.

    But it seems that the shortcuts for control are gone.

    I had E-UAE working before I formated my drives, now that I try to put it on again it will not start up. Whats the process? The old one I had came with everything in the archive. It was as simple as decompress and go.

    0.8.27 uses powersdl too or not?
    How to change the disk in the floppy drives? Or Reset oe Quit? Seems to be impossible now from within the emu.

    @ Acill

    I did an E-UAE 0.8.27 package with AmigaSYS1.7.1 included. You just need a Kickrom and WB3.1 ADF. But check Readme how to start first.

    http://www.pegasosforum.de/dload.php?action=file&file_id=477

    Can simply be upgraded with E-UAE 0.8.28

    Just tested E-UAE with AmigaSys 2.0 (copied from my laptop) and it works great! Good job.

    You can change disks with UAE-Control, it's provided with WinUAE, look in the "Amiga Programs" folder.

    Hmm I got your amigasys install and I put my adfs and rom in the dirs.
    It boot off the floppy but I never see the install from the hard
    drives. It looks to me like the hard drive dirs are not mounted. How
    do I fix this?

    I cant get any RTG modes to show up after it boots into the new WB. The only modes avail are amiga modes. When I go to the P96 prefs no boards are there. How do I enable it? I am having this same problem on my Mac as well with the latest E-UAE.

    You must specify your resolution on the config file.
    This resolution must be the same used on your workbench or higher.

    I can send you my config file this evening.

    Serge,
    I would love the config file too please :-)

    @thread

    How good/fast is the latest E-Uae? I'm dying to use programs Like Pixel Pro 3D on Morphos with UAE. Is this feasible? Or is it only good for old gaming? And on that note with old Games like say Centurion Defender of Rome - does it run full speed and with good sound? What about joypad support?

    TIA

    Try to add this line to the .uaerc file:
    gfx_fullscreen_amiga=false

    I'm impressed how good old games work, nearly 100% A500 speed on a Peg1, with joypad and sound support. With P96 the workbench seems to react as fast as on a real amiga, but I haven't tested it well.

    Definitely faster than any other versions I have tried: emulating an A500 on a G3 seems to be possible now...

    Unfortunately, any resolution upper than 320x256 (640x480+gfx_linemode=double,...) will cause sound cuts...

    btw, suggestion to whoever is maintaining it: when UAE is in fullscreen, and a disk is changed, a requester is displayed on the ambient screen. After having selected a file, the requester is closed but the UAE screen is not put back in front...
    Nothing hurts a project more than developers not taking the time to let their community know what is going on.

    Leo : indeed, overlay support would definitely solve this. But as this is a SDL version of UAE (I guess), it may turn out to be a little complicated ?

    AFAIK SDL for MorphOS supports overlay.
