MOS Media needs a new name badly

Most of you know, that "MOS Media" is a project adding modern media layer to MorphOS. The project itself is progressing well after some API restructuring, but it needs a new name. Why? There is already MOS Media project, multimedia streaming related as well, so the current name is misleading. There is also MOS Media company in Russia. That is why a new name is a must. I've taken a temporary one - "Transmosify", but then I've heard it sounds funny for Germans and is "unprofessional". So I have a question - what the new name should be?

It should tell something about to what OS it's tied, and something about itself. So .. how about MorphOS Media Center

And what about "MorphOS Media" ?
Then, nobody would get confused with the name change.

The problem is "MorphOS" is commonly abbreviated to "MOS". So "MorphOS Media" will be abbreviated to "MOS Media" - we are back to the problem...

Well so we have following proposals:
Kameny - don't know what it means, but anyway.
MorphOS Media Center - well, it still contains problematic "MorphOS Media" part.
    Roquefort - joke, but...
Chameleon - already taken, too bad it is sound processing tool too.
LorD proposals - sorry, but too long.
MOSMediaLib - still contains "MOS Media", won't pass.
    MMLibrary - hard to pronounce.

Then currently Kameny and Roquefort are candidates. I can also add Marcin Kwiatkowski Helga proposal.

A professional solution (i assume MOSMedia is one, or?) also needs a more professional sounding name. Going into fun-area or some other stuff which makes one laugh is maybe the wrong idea then.

As the name is used anyway only for the release (the parts (files, libs, classes) of MOSmedia have names on it own) there shouldn't be too much worry about if the name sounds funky or cool, but only if the name contains what it is about.

    My 3 1/2 euro cent.

    suggestions:

    "MorphOS Multimedia"
    "MorphOS Multi Media"
    "Multimedia"
    "MorphOS Multimedia Framework"
    or stuff like this.

    less seriously ideas:
    "MMM"
    "Triple M"
    ...

okay... lets stop here before I come up with really weird suggestions. It's not what is wanted here. We want something professional sounding! :-)

    regards,
    tokai

Hmm, even though the name already gives hits on google, I still think something on the lines of MediaTypes would make sense...

    Code:
I've heard it sounds funny for Germans

There's always the concern that whatever wording you choose.. it will mean something funny or rude in a different language.

Could someone explain what's "funny" about Transmosify/Transmosifier
    in German?

What I think is good about this name is that it explains what it does
(of course not for everyone, but it's not only used in Calvin &
Hobbes, it has also been picked up and used by many others.. I think
there was a Star Trek game for Amiga where you could get one of these,
for example). It's perhaps a bit long, but it could always be
abbreviated to TMF when referred to in context.

Geeh - even I am German I don't get what's the problem with
"transmosify". It's a bit long and doesn't sound too handy, but... I
    don't get it?

Anyway, I would go for "Blue Media" or "The Honz" (with a sharp "z")
(it has no meaning, but one can always tell a lot about "The
    Honz".

Some MOS components use music style names. We have Trance, Ambient... Something similar could be nice.
It's too dumb, but I must suggest Rock (on which MOS apps stand) ;-)
Or another one - Base (from d'n'b). I hope the idea is clear :-)
