After unsuccesfull Debian Linux instalation and restarting my Pegasos into the BEST MorphOS again,
I lost 20GB SFS partition! Linux suckz :-x

This partition is visible in SCSIConfig, but it's not formated now. :-?
What should I do to rescue my data?

Quick format to make partition visible and than try to rescue???

    Linux NEVER more!

First of all, you should slightly watch what you shout out in the public. There are plenty of MorphOS and Linux users out there which I am one of those people. If you don't know what you are doing, then don't do it and stop blaming your very own mistakes and incapabilities towards Linux. A lot of people are using Linux as well as MorphOS together on the very same machine and live best with it but these people spent some time reading some manuals or asked others to help them in case they don't know any further. So saying 'Linux suxx' doesn't make you cool. It makes you look like a fool actually.

    greetings,

I know what I am doing. Linux installer is even in czech language. Partition table seemed OK. I gave Linux 4.1GB free space, Linux detected it automatically and created extfs partition and swap partition. I saved partition table. I couldn't install base system. So I switched back to MorphOS and my Multimedia partition, which WASN'T beside Linux partition, disappeared! :-(

Ok, sorry for railing against Linux, I was really very angry in the first moment.

Could be in some peoples eyes. But at least Linux does have a future. No single kid can stop it because he whines his ass off because of being unpaid.

I agree with you that Luky's comments are silly. Linux is going to save the world! :-)

I love MOS and use a dual boot system with Debian Linux which is very cool. If I need to run Open Office or Firefox I use Debian. K3b is cool too. For most other tasks/fun I use MOS. I also run MOL with OSX Panther and that kicks ass!

However, I disagree with your comment about "some kid" stoping things becuase of whining of getting paid. That is a very simple statement and Zapek is not a "kid"

If your partition is only visible from SCSIconfig and not from MorphOS volumes try to "Add Virtual" device in SFSRecoverTool (set cylinders of lost partition as are shown in SCSIconfig). And then try "Scan" it ...

That's a little harsh. I say - try it - if is screws up - then live and learn. You can't limit yourself to only what you know how to do or you'll never try anything new. Go for the adventure - it's what makes the Pegasos community!

Luck is not on your side atm, it seems. Keep my fingers crossed that better times will arrive soon.
