As I am none of those guys whinig around 'port this', 'port that' I will kind of do so today. Not really, because everyone knows that a good browser is lacking and I guess everyone knows also that there are some projects on the way. But one of these projects needs help:
The AWeb team is badly looking for ppl helping them. You need GCC skills and I guess a deep breath for a long hault.
So, why am I not helping one might ask? Right, I have the same reasons as most ppl here. Too much other stuff is to do and I am quite afraid of the huge amount of work. But nevertheless I like to ask everyone if there are some ppl around who might be that crazy to join that team...

The main part for a browser is the html-engine
I would guess ... exactly that part which is missing
in AWeb. They want to port khtml and nothing is done for this
    at this time ...

On the other hand you have the amizilla-crew (Jeff Shepherd mainly)
having low-level stuff of Mozilla ported ... just join the
amizilla-mailinglist on yahoo to see for yourself.

I agree with them just joining the mozilla team as well. I never was much of a fan of Aweb. I dont think i ever used it more then just to see how it looked when it came with OS 3.5 and 3.9 though. I was an Ibrowse registered user and still am.

@Acill: Read to MHK in AW, they prefer a developer-friendly manner or something...

Sure, khtml is portable ... but why ?

I read the whole thread and it's even worth
than I thought ... They dont even know what
GUI is planned. They're at 0.

Sure I wish them luck. But common sense still
makes amizilla the better choice. Be it compatibility,
portability or the current status of development.

The 'excuse' used for not joining the amizilla efford
is exactly that ... an excuse !
