Open-Xchange is an opensource alternative to MS Exchange.

Why not port this to MorphOS? This could be very interesting...

Because MorphOS is NOT a server OS.

Why not write a mail client that uses WebDAV to access emails from Exchange servers? The code is available in Ximian Connector - also owned by Novell.

Just make a plugin for YAM or something..

i am dissapointed neko, if i made that post you would have bit my head off....i think you let him go a a little easy dont ya think ;) but in all seriousness it is a cool program but i think if there was some kind of porting effort for open source programs going on there are a lot more "important" choices than this..

MorphOS would make one killer server OS if development headed that way.

More power to the person that can port it. The way I look at it is this; the more open-source software out that does what M$ stuff does as well as or better, the better off the world will be!

    No native TCP/IP stack.
    No multiuser.
No filesharing (NFS or CIFS or whatsoever).
No memory protection (at least in ABox).

I would not do a server with such OS.

This is a TOY for now. I am starving for Q-Box...
