    I can't print from text editors or my checkitout (checkbook) and I can print from Final Writer. Any suggestions. Checkitout lets me choose PAR: OR PRT: both don't work.

    Thanks

    Matt

    @Matt

    I'm not an expert with that, but if I were in the same situation, I'd try printing to a file and then sending the file directly to PRT: ... or maybe to PAR:

    That's not a solution, but this is something I'd try to see what happens.

    Hope it helps,
    Fred

    Thanks Fred,

    I created a text file of the report and tried to copy to both prt: and par: both failed.

    I'm running a network printer with lpr.device.

    Have a good one.

    I think that we need a device sharing as Plan9 but ala amiga-style ( using .device but with tooltypes, some configuration program or something for those network things )...

    I think what we need is a new WORKING print system. I would even pay for turbo print if they did an offical up to date working MorphOS port of it.
