NFS shares icon on workbench

    hi

    how to display an icon from my nfs shares on workbench

    in env:sys/.../def_XXXXX.info ????

    plz help me

    thx

    i use genesis as tcp/ip stack and ch_nfsmount XXX: to mount my shares from win 2003 server ... yes i have an nfs server running on it :D

    Simply copy the icon you want to the network drive and rename it disk.info :)

    ok .. i have copy a icon but no display this on wb. why ?

    no tooltypes ?
    no other entry in ch_nfstab ?
    here a example from my ch_nfstab

    192.168.1.222:/d/mp3 mp3: USER root
    ...
    ...

    in d/mp3 exist a disk.info file

    other idea ?

    try dis-connecting and re-connecting the share, if that don't work try rebooting.

    Copying the icon worked for me.

    used you genesis ch_nfsmount too ? or other tcp stack with
    other nfs client ?

    what is your config ?

    Hi there!

    What is the latest NFS (client & deamon) available working on MOS, not necessarily native?

    .. and where could I find them?

    There's a version on Aminet, but it was done in 1999 and only supports NFSv2.

    The latest NFS I could find is on AmigaOS 3.9, in Genesis directory. Any1 knows a more recent version or has compiled it for MOS?

    Hi MarquiS,
    I had the same problem with NFS shares icon not showing.
    And found by accident that the icon shows after a cdrom is inserted.
    Try that or this comand diskchange cd0:
