I tried moving a 4GB ISO file from a Linux partition to a SFS partition, and I get:

    File size limit exceeded

I thought that the limit was just with the old dos.library, not with SFS itself. Is is a limitation of the linux driver?

BTW, anyone know how long will we have to wait for BurnIT 3.0?

    cya!

I have the same problem. On pc I had a lot of troubles with 4GB+ files, and I always said, that there will no problem if I had a Pegasos, but - there is. AFAIK SFS supports large files, but the dos.library don't. I hope it will change in 1.5.

But from the Gentoo side, the dos.library has nothing to do, I guess.

Anyone knows who is the responsible of the developing of the SFS support on the linux kernel? Last version is 0.6?

The 4gb limit MUST be fixed on both sides: MorphOS & Linux.

On a new OS as MorphOS we can't have these limitations of older OSes...

MorphOS 1.5 will be free of these limitation? Please say it...

    MorphOS1.5 will have a 64bit DOS.
It will support files >4GB. Still the problem is, if the Filesystem support files >4GB. SFS does not.
