Well, the better thing is ever have the original machine to run perfectly his OS. :)
Altrough i can run Mac software on Linux, the better things is have a REAL machintos to run MacOS...
I'm think emulations is useful when:
1-Original Machines, hardware and software, are not longer avaiable or selled (Arcade cabinet, Vic20, Commodore 64, Nintendo consolles, maybe Commodore Amiga). Only way to use again this soft is to emulate it.
2- Lacking of ported software: actually "emulation" is really need for MorphOS becouse we haven't, for me, many native software to run on our platform. So, if there is a good title and we lack of the machine to run it, an emulator is nice (like Playstation, Gamecube, and so, a lot of games which probably never see a Pc porting).
For me there is not too sense "emulate" linux if we can install the native PCC version on our machine (at least a similar work can be good for the developer to learn some programming tricks).
Maybe this emulator can help to make MorphOS more know... but, becouse MorphOS have lesser native software respect to Windows and MacOS, there is really need to emulate it? Maybe for fun, ok, but I don't sure if there is pratical need to do it.
