    Sorry if this has already been covered.

    I downloaded MLDonkey last night and tried it out.
    It seemed to work fine and I downloaded a file but when it said 'committed', there was nothing in the incoming drawer.

    There were still files in the temp drawer though.

    Am I missing something obvious?

    Cheers,
    Robert.

    use the command

    dllink http://path_to/file.torrents

    then, it should say 'done'

    then, you should begin recieving a torrents file. the same concept works for edonkey (etc) files.

    I'm using the interface in iBrowse and for some reason the underscore
    ' _ ' character isn't working. Dang!

    I can't get the interface to work in Voyafer. :-(

    @Golem:

    Ooops! :-)

    Anyway, I still can't get my underscore key to work in the iBrowse
    interface.

    Is the "path_to" part the URL that is shown when the mousepointer is
    placed over a search result?

    i.e. I get "unable to match URL", if I enter:

    dllink http://localhost4080/resultsd79/file.torrents

    Please excuse my ignorance here... :-?

    @Robert

    dllink http://localhost4080/resultsd79/file.torrents

    should at least be corrected to:

    dllink http://localhost:4080/resultsd79/file.torrents

    as 4080 is the port number, but I suspect (not sure as I don't use mldonkey yet) it is supposed to be:

    dllink http://localhost:4080/results?d=79/file.torrents

    or something like that ...

    Hope it helps

    @ChatDEau:

    Thanks for the reply.

    Unfortunately both those combinations also give "unable to match URL".

    Hi Robert,

    This is what I wrote in the other "Donkey"-thread about using the URL-command:

    Quote:

    Hi weiseb,

    To see a torrent-file in "Downloads" I have to:

    - Do a normal browser-download with the torrent-file
    - In MLDonkey give the command: "dllink {path on harddisk/torrent-file}"

    As you see I'm using the URL command in MLDonkey, whereas I used all the time the "dllinks"-command.
    (in the description it states this is for file-download). Apparantly I got confused of using which command...

    I have to say that the torrent does show up in the Downloads-section, but never really starts downloading stuff (I left it on for 2 full days).
    Whereas trying the same torrent-link with a pc worked perfectly.

    Bye,

    Spidey

    ps: with path on my hardfile I mean something like:
    "dllink Work:torrents/file.torrent"
