Software which could be bundled with the Pegasos? Are the licence fees high?

    umm, why? It's freely available...

And another "problem" is, ScummVM as such doesn't do anything - it needs data files from games, and most of those are commercial. And those that aren't, likely they wouldn't be allowed to be bundled with Pegasos...

Nah, why not use ethernet-wlan converter? I have friends that use one, one of them on his dreamcast and runs perfectly!

Your port supports OGG? Could be nice when you port it. I like see things as Broken Sword 1 & 2 on MorphOS... Why not a good and complete MUI loader? :)

An idea for ScummVM team could be that you can specific the music files and game files location, and you can make a thing as --game-data=Lucasarts:thedig/spanish --game-music=Lucasarts:thedig/music . Could seems unuseful but I think that is a curious thing...

One more thing ... I don't think I'll get anything done before Easter or so. I intend to participate in a German text adventure grand prix and have to submit my entry until end of the month which of course means I have to finish it until then.

This evening was messed up by a friend who has to do a presentation tomorrow in his computer science class and I had to "fix" his text :-D

As for connecting Mac and Peggy, I may try something as simple as this ftp thing, but of course the ultimate solution would be to have MorphOS running via VNC so that I need only one monitor and connect to internet via Mac and so on. Well we'll see.

Yes, I had considered this :-) No work done on this yet though. Would be the next thing to add.

Also waiting for a newer version (day of the tentacle keeps on crashing with the current one ;-) ), but I must say that tomjoad has already done a great job with the current port. Keep it up mate! :-)

    Yeah, but its SDL...
However, tomjoad did a very nice job in the past
    with his MOS Port.

Not that I don`t like the scale engines, nevertheless, overlay is a
very cool feature for playing Emus and such on Ambient.

    Tomjoad:
Sure ;-) I gues you have at least a normal network conection
    between both?
So you can either use a quick ftp conection (search aminet for rc-ftpd as a nice and easy to use ftp server) between both machines or you might try samba, which is afair available for the mac, for the peg the smbfs "file system" is enough if you just want to transfer the files from the peg (you are unable to see the drives under the Finder until you also have samba installed on the Peg)
Then there is netfs, which is also easy to use.
It is part of AmiTCP/Genesis, and should also be available for the Mac.

Samba for Amiga and the smbfs could be found here

Oh yes sure ... I've had little time to monitor this. I doubt that a simple recompile will do, I think some stuff needs changes.

Btw, doubt I can get butterflyvale back ... haven't heard anything anymore from the "hijackers".

Question #1 would be ... how do I get the sources on my Peggy without burning a new CD for it? Peggy's not online since we got WLAN. Any Mac <-> MorphOS networking tutorial out there? :-?

I tried compiling a CVS snapshot of ScummVM a couple of weeks ago, but it failed due to a missing header. I think it was called etude or something like that (?)
I did a search for it on google but didn't come up with anything useful. :(

I really like ScummVM, and ScummVM 0.6.0 has a lot of nice features... and those Broken Sword 1 & 2 support, Flight of the amazon queen...

I want a port of ScummVM 0.6.0 for MorphOS ;)

tomjoad, are you there? Please port it...
