    Of course hardware implementation is better. But today we have 3D hw accel only for UltraThreaded SE / R500 cards.
    And until bigfoot is finished new graphics upgrades, software solution will help. Like for example often used Wazp3D or Mesa-sw.

    The ninth public TinyGL beta added 3D hardware acceleration for R800/R900 cards (but tenth public beta lacks it).
