    Hi.

I often use DeepL for translations. Of course, it works with Wayfarer but on my X5000 it takes some time of loading.

My question: would anyone dare to port the tool from OS4 to MorphOS? Is it possible?

    Thanks!

    Hi Primax,

it's an Hollywwod script, i can execute it on MorphOS with Hollywood command from Hollywood 10.

I try to test it more to see if all is Ok and compile it on MorphOS (no need Hollywood command after compilation).

PS: translations work, i've contacted the author to say him i will port it on MorphOS.

Try AmiTranslate from ALB42, it's perfectly working on MorphOS 😉

@BatteMan: yes, you have right, AmiTranslate from ALB42 is a GUI for DeepL too :-)

@Primax: with AmiTranslate, you can save in UTF8 and in PDF format and support Japanese font
The GUI from Nick Sommer is more esthetic and have Chineese language too but seems doesn't support Chineese and Japanese font...

The original author could also compile it as an Hollywood Applet, then it would work on all platforms!
And the file size is only 20kb instead of 4MB.
I just tried it, and it works fine here!

Maybe I should "switch" my gTranslator.sbar to deepL...

    Thank you!
Maybe I will write a little comparison between the two tools.
