I'd like to put in my old CDs and play them as is.
Is "CD Player" known to not work anymore?

Being an old man who remembers playing vinyl records in my youth, I can understand the desire to be able to just pop a CD into your MorphOS computer, and have it play all tracks of the CD, without needing to interact with it at all (just like dropping a record on the player and moving the needle to the beginning of the record, or if it was a high end player, pushing a button to have the needle arm move to the beginning of the record automatically). But now I would rather save the wear and tear on my original CD's, and just rip the tracks to files, and play them that way, saving the CD for a time when I might need to rip the files again, if my hdd, or ssd gets corrupted, or otherwise damaged, or if I just want the files on a different computer, and it is inconvenient to copy the files across. Just my 4 cents (usually 2 cents, but I'm always long winded).
MorphOS - The best Next Gen Amiga choice.
