If I can make a suggestion: editing draft mails is very odd, at least to me.
If I double click a mail in the draft drawer, then it is opened just for reading. Why that?

If I save a mail, then of course I want to edit it later. So please: double clicking should leave to the edit windows. Thanks!

Do you think it would be worthwhile to implement a hotkey for "sending" mails? I mean, in the style of Outlook. Something like a left amiga + enter or something?

Iris 1.21 is now available. Changes since the last public release:

- Added an option to block loading of any external assets (images, css, etc) used in HTML emails. When enabled, Iris will only show images attached to the email itself. External content may still be loaded using context menu
- Double-clicking a message in Drafts will now open it in Edit mode
- Right mouse click on the messages list selects the clicked email
- Added a help bubble to the messages list
- Extended the AREXX WRITE command
- It's now possible to create and send calendar invitations in emails
- Updated WebKit & co

What VCard-files are expected in AdressCard-importing? Normal .vcf-files, craeted by smart-phones are not accepted....

I've only really tested VCARD version 3.0 and newer. I'll see if something can be done for legacy formats.

Found a easy workaround for this old vcards:


Load old file.vcf to a ascii-editor (like MorphED) and replace following (whole file):

This can easily be done by automatic "Search&Replace"-function of MorphED.
In my case it was a version 2.1- don't forget to set in the right version-number of your file!
Now I was possible to load it correct(!!) to IRIS.

Hope this will help others with the same issue.

Every time I open a mail in Iris 1.22, the main browser set in OpenURL is opened and a blank window is opened. If I disable any entry in OpenURL, just a blank window in Iris is opened. What did I wrong, which option must be selected to view the mails again correctly?

How can I reproduce this? Are you sure it's not some specific emails / settings triggering this? OpenURL settings wouldn't matter.

Very weird. This behaviour occurs on my G5 and the Powerbook G4, but not on my iBook G4. All three have got MorphOS 3.18 and Iris 1.22 installed. If I copy over the Iris directory to the other devices, this behaviour still occurs.

You name specific settings. Which setting does affect viewing in an external application?
