Iris 1.47
- Fixed offline downloader getting stuck on a disconnected session
- Fixed a race condition in the address cache shutdown code
- Fixed a crash on quit
- Improved SSL certificate validation
- Updated WebKit to 2.48.3
- Updated WebKit-related libraries
- Switched to GCC15

Contacts 1.5:
- Fixed an issue with passing UTF8 encoded strings via Arexx
- Updated to work with older versions of openssl3.library

Is there a way to have fixed sizes in the columns (SUBJECT, DATE etc) of the emails list?
Yes, I can resize them but when close Iris and open again they autoadjust at the content text.

Is it possible to set an option in Iris so that I can see the links when I hover over them with the mouse?

Click right mouse-button when you hover over....


@tolkien: Late, but....: that can be saved by saveing MUI-Prefs in Iris.

Iris 1.48 now out with updated WebKit and a fix for Outlook login slowness.

If you answer a mail, then there are always four empty lines between "on 2025-12-17 xyz wrote.." and the content of the mail to be answered.
I had reported that a while ago, please have a look at it and if possible, fix it. Thanks!

This depends on your response settings (top/bottom post mode).

Iris 1.49 is now out!

- Fixed message search to skip disabled accounts and folders immediately instead of timing out
- Fixed calendar popup window time/hour sliders' max values
- Added some additional guards against exceptions in calendar date/time parsing code
- Improved attachment filename handling when editing emails
- It's now possible to paste an image from clipboard into an email
- Added a workaround for broken ICS files sent from Outlook where some lines would be CP2152 encoded

Iris 1.51 is now out!

- Fixed text cursor not reappearing after the message writer window was inactive
- Clearing the signature in the Signature editor will now remove it completely, previously saved signatures that only contain a newline character are now silently dropped

Could we expect synchronization of contacts and calendar in Iris? With Gmail and Outlook?

Calendar is somewhere on the TODO... No plans to add uploads of contacts for the time being - you can only download them from Gmail.

Iris still gives "SMTPCommandError - Error while executing command 'DATA' as error when sending/replying emails from my Posteo account. Do you have an idea what this could be related of?

Probably found a bug in IRIS or I do something wrong:

If showing a attatched file (text or graphics) in IRIS and try to print out, allways the mail itself is printed, but not the attatched file.....
