End of February sounds great, my birthday is 27th of february. That would be a nice release date at least for me! :-D
Maybe you could tease us with some screens in the meantime, to shorten the time till next release. I think we all would appreciate this.

And what about cycle gadgets within html contents?
Is it much hardest to handle these objects than other MUI objects?

I miss draggable screens... and do you? I know I'm in a minority unfortunately.

Screenshots can't realy show progress that's being made (most of the work is being done underhood, like cookies support, new engine, much more improved stability, etc).

    They are done already.

    Hi Marcik

Excellent work on Sputnik, I'm really looking forward to the next release.

I want to ask about Unicode support. When I browse a page of type text/utf-8 the HTML
seems to break. Is this a known problem ? Is there any reason why Sputnik
shouldn't support it ? (I want to read Japanese/UTF-8 web pages).

    thanks

February is advanced already, are you still on track of that time line?
What has been done lately, where are unsolved issues?

Sputnik was already very handy to me to check a webdesign I fixed for a friend of mine ( http://www.leonie-kubigsteltig.com ). First time I had to use css, the material I got was bugged with it, I don't like the design too much yet, will change it. But it was great to have CubicIDE and a modern browser on the same maschine.

There might be a small delay, but rather in days than weeks.

Among other things one of the most important news is that lastest beta with disabled images (there is some bug in it which should be fixed very soon) is reported by the betatesters to runs for hours without problems :-)

Sputnik is doing well but it needs some more work (after all it's
going to be a version which was ment to be atleast a little usable for
a daily browsing). So it's gonna take some more time (but not 2 weeks,
don't worry :-) ) - it will for sure appear in Q1 this year.

    Hi,

Using 1st and 2st Sputnik release, it do not allow cookies, tough.
Much sites rely on cookies. I'am curious for a next MorphOS release.

1st beta doesn't support cookies. 2nd has cookie support, i have no problems with it. Sputnik rocks.
