    Hi, again :)

    @ leon:

Mmmh, should be posible with advmenu,
"just" need to make some scripts... I'll check this
(alternatively you could use of course one of those
    compilations-cds....)

If there are any voodoo-users interested in this cd,
please give me your xmame/mess configs, otherwise
green mame screens will be default on voodoos....

    I've attached the cd32-splashscreen....
(only one attachment possible?, OK 'll come
    back with a zip....)

    have a nice day!

    Hi :)

Mmmh, not really all, but at least some :)

    CD32-Menu works :)
related HOWTO will be included (not much todo, but a bit...)
I've attached a zip with other previews :)

    BTW: As I don't think I'll get any voodoo-configs, I'll finish
    the baby this week :)
(voodoo will just be semi-supported, but there anyway
don't seem to be many voodoo-people (tm) left....)

    Hi :)

I'm quiet sure that a live-DVD with many cd32.isos and other games works, too.
The problem is that I already burned 3 dvds and none of them
can be read from my internal dvd-rom
(I burned with an external usb-dvd-burner, which can read the
    finished dvds...)

    cheers

    Hi

The Live-CD is now available as torrent in download at www.pegasos.org

Its present in the left column in latest download, and sorted under Download/games.

Anyone who want to share and help hosting it is of course welcome to do. It is around 160MB to download, and you have to unpack the archive after downloaded, create an iso and burn to a cd for having it as Live-CD.

Further instructions is in the archive.

Think perhaps also Frostwork might have some hint to share :-)

    Gunne

    Hi :)

Fist of all, thank you very much, gunne for upload :)
2nd the cd-template is on its way to mark /tbs-software
who wants to upload, too :) Thank you !

    Hhhm, ok hints:

Of course no games/roms are included, thats why I made a
tgz and no iso from it.
Detailed informations are included in the tgz, so only
    general infos here, ok?
    support:

    cd32 live & menu
    -----
    mame
    megadrive
    super nintendo
    master system
    nes
    gameboy
    - color
    - advance
    c64
    amiga
lynx (maybe others and i forgot them...?)
    ----
    AlephOne1-3

for cd32 (live) you need at least a cd32-iso in the rootdir
    called cd32.iso and a (cd32)kickrom called CD32.rom
also in root dir. (for cd32-menu add cd32-2.iso ,-3.iso.....)
    -----
for emulators you only have to put the games into their
correct dir (for c64 & mastersystem you need additionally
    bios files; amiga needs kick.roms)
    -----
AlephOne needs the datafiles which can be downloaded
    for free from
    http://www.students.uni-mainz.de/bauec002/A1Main.html#download
    -----

All configs are in the root-dir, so you can change everything
to your needs if not happy with the defaults.....
Especially useful for Voodoos,as only limited supported, but several things do work ok anyway by default (f.e. cd32-live-boot).

Finally burn your own live-cd (detailed instructions included)
    boot with
    boot cd 32 (radeon/cd32-live)
    boot cd admenu (radeon menu)
    boot cd voomenu (voodoo/menu)

Surely forgot a lot here, but feel free to ask... :)
    Have much fun!!!!

    frostwork

PS: My next live-cd will have as many as possible
linuxgames with a menu (again advmenu)...
ATM there are about 50 working, but more to come :)
    (all genres)

    Hi frostwork,

I'm trying to build your CD with a CD32 game but I have some trouble.

1- dont know if I have to put the live-work drawer on the CD or its contents.

2- puting all files and drawers on the CD, I can boot, see menus, but the Xserver goes to an error. I have a Radeon 7000. It seems there is a configuration file error.

Help, I want use your CD please.

What about Audio Tracks from CD32 CDs? I have ISO of the Game and MP3 of the Tracks.

    Other Idea:
What about CD32 Emulator that loads into RAM and then you can insert and start Games from Original CD32 CDs?

    Hi!
Only the contents of the live-work drawer
shall be burned to cd, not the drawer itself...
As of xorg-error I think it's cause of the Radeon7000? Try to adjust the xorg.conf
under cfgs/ by adding your BusID or similar...

Mmmh, I don't think that cd-audio is supported yet :(

    cheers
    frostwork

    ps:
    I've seen today that there's a X86 game-knoppix cd with 90 games...
Im going to beat this for our pegs :)

    Hi!
Did you try to adjust the xorg.conf to your 7000er card? Maybe it's a PCI-card and
it wants a BUSID in the config...
    mmmh, good luck!

    @serge

if you got a radeon AGP the BUSID should be PCI:1:0:0

    keep us tuned !

I tryed to adjust the xorg.conf. It seems I have a frequency refresh
problem with my LCD monitor. With the last changes, I get a message
from my monitor "out of range" . This meens the serverXis running and
sending a picture, but this picture cant be displayed. I remembre
!haviing the same problem with LiveCD Cube game.
    LiveCd Torcs works fine.
    I'll try some other frequencies.
The busID for a radeon AGP card is 1:8:0 so Frostwork does the config
    just.

    thanks

    Hi :)

Mark from tbs-software was so kind to upload the cd32-live-tgz
    on the tbs-software-hp:
    http://www.tbs-software.com/frostwork/cd32-live.tar.gz

Thank you very much once again :)

    @serge:
Do you have an installed linux?
If so, try to replace the live-xorg.cfg with yours
(if you have xfree make sure you replace the "xfree"stuff with "xorg"....). Is it possible that your lcd can't display 16bit screens
or so? You maybe could try t replace the default-bpp with an
    other value...
    I tried the cd with a Radeon9000pro, a Radeon9200SE and a Voodoo3-3000....
    Good luck!
    frostwork

I'm going to give some wip-infos and screenies on my upcoming
linux-games-livecd this week... Still have to find many games
    to thou.... :)
