    Hi Kiero

    Of course it does :-)

That wasnt the point of me saying it though. It was about time for a new SDK after 2 years dont you think? :-D

New gcc would be cool and other tools for devs - there may be some new faces around soon..

Thanks for your support of MOS and all your hardwork Kierowink

Hi, I have just released latest Ambient CVS 11.03.2005! :-)

    What's new? Kiero rulez!

    - disk.info doesn't apear in window after window snapshot (kiero)

    - snapshotting window should result in same window being opened next time (kiero)
... drive windows still after restart

    - changed handling of string/clickpath. In default mode only clickpath is visible.
After pressing "/" it's replaced by string. Tab cancels string edition. (kiero)

    and more...

    - fixed bug caused to cut statusbar text area to the half of window (scf)

The new Ambient versions are starting
to become nice again, fewer bugs, more
speed and some actual new features
    surfacing. Thanks to all involved.
These regular binary releases are a
    welcome change. :)

Since I had not got the chance to thank all of them singularly, I'd like to thank itix, chain|q, scf, kiero and tokai for the work they are doing with Ambient. The 9/03 snapshot was already working good, I'll test the new compile by luky (many thanks to you, too - I don't even need to DL the CVS and compile the sources by myself) as soon as possible.
I want to say that I really like the direction Ambient development has taken, and the continuos releases are both refreshing and reassuring. And it's nice to see how many features are being implemented (and bug being cured) in small time frames.

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

These are not releases. They are just compiled CVS versions.

Ilike the luky compile, but the drive space under the icons needs to
go! How do I disable it?

Thanks for the compile luky and thnks for the work ambient team, so much improvment in so little time, you guyss rock!!!

I am curious about one thing though, in the new system monitor there's a entry that says: 'computer turned on: yes' is this hard coded to say 'yes' all the time or does it actually say 'no' when the computer is off? :-o

Pssssst! Don't tell anyone! This is all illusion. In truth, your computer is off. It is just to make you believe your Peg is running ;-)

I like to see all the new features too, but
for my taste it's getting too crowded now to
be usefull. Will the old Ambient-Style be kept
    as an option ?

Looks very interesting. I like the tool bubbles, but I agree they should be optional. Luky, I like my desktop at about the resolution that you have it. Some people like to run at 2048 x 1600 or whatever but that just is too much to me.
