Do you think an internal function to find version string will be more speed than the AmigaDOS command "version"?

About support of space in name, i think it's not a good solution, it could make problems.

Sometimes the version string is empty...

Sometimes command version don't found the version string...

Sometimes the version string is not the version of the software...

Sometimes i must use FULL option for commmand version, sometimes not...

Sometimes the version string is on the first column, second, ...., seventh columns of the version string...

I think a universal solution will be very difficult to do.

I realize some "Case" to show the good version number...

It's a long long processus but work when all is configured correctly

- new archives fixed as stated in the IMPORTANT NOTE in the ReadMeFirst.txt file
- fixed a problem when the destination is "Ram Disk:" (thanks ghh)
- fixed a problem when an archive is already present in RAM:T/
- added the default path Sys:Demoscene/ for Demoscene category (thanks BeWorld)
- improved english texts (thanks NewSense)

No, easy install just crashes, the rest of the system works
it has a specific screen where the application opens not in the desktop
This is the best I can give you in terms of guidance
It also crashes when doing a simple refresh or scan of a directory

No error message just hangs
In any case the system works but remains in the background

Tried the frist time now, looks good so far but I have a lot of freeze.

Problem fixed.

The application "stopped" when the option Log was not saved in state "deactivated" statute.
Now the options are automaticaly saved when your active or desactive them.
I have removed SAVE button too.

I'm trying beta 0.37
I am very happy and satisfied I have been trying it for 1 hour (2 REBOOTS of morphos) 30 minutes unfortunately!
No freezes or crashes and no changing font lines and line jumps!!
You finally found the bug that was causing me all this trouble

Hm, not sure what I am doing wrong or my PowerBook has issues but still getting freezes.

Some examples:

Starting Easy2Install, de-tick the Banner gadget -> Freeze
Starting Easy2Install, de-tick the Preview gadget -> Freeze
Starting Easy2Install, change "Search by" to "Last Entries", it reads and load -> Freeze

Its a bit odd.

DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING EVERYTHING WORKS PRIVATE FOR 1 HOUR EVEN TODAY NEVER A CRASH

Well, it seems to be Skin Issue. I installed a fresh system, everything was working. I switched to Ater Skin and Easy2Install freezed the system. I switched back to Origo Skin and it was working again.

Yes, Origo is the default theme in MorphOS. If I change Global MUI settings to Ater it will freeze the system.
