why does the web browser all ways have to load fonts on launch?
it is very slow ! It takes 1-3 min to load the web browser! Web pages are fine, it just loading the browser.

Is there any man pages aka help pages, to compile programs over to this OS?

it is Linux ? Amiga? Unix BSD? what is it ? and if so what apps run from amiga 3.1 , 3.5 3.9 or 4.0

Have you installed MorphOS to HD, or are you just booting from CD ?

OWB has to init all those once at startup, but can't save the results on CD so it has to do with every reboot.

If installed on HD this should only happen once (or after you updated the OS).

For developing, just install the SDK and have a look at the provided examples. If these don't get well with your skill level or experience in coding anything Amiga you might want to ask specific questions right here on this forum.

MorphOS is still pretty much "Amiga" just with much more bells&whistles. Apps written for AmigaOS1.0 to 3.x and run on Amiga with RTG cards should also run on MorphOS. Some OS4.0 apps can be made to work with OS4Emu (IMO not worth the effort).

Your mileage may vary.

OWB in the 3.1 ISO would be 1.17 the current version is 1.19 (availble at the link in the OWB startscreen). There is also a special script for OWB, or you could just switch UTube to HTML5 and spoof as a non-flash-capable device. Others might give you more detailed pointers.

I think that's the right ver. 1.2. it goes in your plugin folder for owb, and enabled on the browser settings. it helps to have it.
