I was just wondering if it is somehow possible to run MorphOS on Macintosh. Will it be possible some day? A japanese friend helped me assembling my Pegasos II/G3 and he was amazed of the speed of MorphOS. He would like to try it in his G3 i-Book ;-)

And what about AROS ppc? Any port for mac? ;-)

Q: Will MorphOS run on Apple Hardware?
A: Not at the moment but it's looked at. Don't expect real information
about this until end of 2003.

..there will be only one left.

What I'd really like to see (on the Mac) is good PPC sandboxing. That is, ability to run "linux-on-mac" in a window, and "morphos-on-mac" as well.

The reason? It serves as an outstanding development platform, having all the target OSes in one (tiny) hardware box. :) I already do this for Win32 and Linux/x86 using Virtual PC. I believe the future in computing is largely based on sandboxes!

p.s. yes, i know Linux/PPC guys already have this (mac-on-linux). First step for Morphos would be to make sure it runs there.

Correct. Under MOL you can run Linux, Mac-9 and Mac-X in parallel.

this would be slow but it would work.
from your mac run virtual pc and have windows or linux running then from inside windows or linux run bochs then u can run aros......i would ove u use aros on my ibook but i hope morphos stays only on the pegasos otherwise no one will buy the pegasos they will buy apple products so they can use OSX without MOL.

I don't think they would buy apple products just for that reason... Maybe design or whatever. Macs are expensive! I'd rather buy a Pegasos ;-)
