I like the concept of the ARexx webserver. I don't know what all services it provides, if it's stable, or if it's secure. Still, I would like to know this stuff. I would love to have the opportunity to speak with the author of that system ;-)

could be nice too a fast http server that supports arexx as scripts, and make your portal in arexx instead of php, and that be fast and not fails :)

    DJBase:

You should submit your site to the MDC! :-) It would make a great entry.

A fast and reliable httpd with CGI and ARexx support is NCSA httpd.
You could regard it as a lean streamlined Apache.
Even in 680x0 mode it is working very fast.
If I could get down to some serious programmation I could even do a MorphOS native port, but the 680x0 version is working good enough.

And certainly all AmigaOS 680x0 servers should be working on MorphOS as well.

I saw Apache and PHP ports in some place(for MorphOS and 68k).. There was alot of other useful ports too... Unfortunately I have no time to check where they could be found :-(

I got no apache port working on MOS. Seems to be all dirty and quick ports.

morphos native apache works nice here (only encountered a crash while accessing external SQL databases). I also downloaded the thttpd port for morphos... but didn't had time yet for testing it, as long apache does the job: e.g. i have running zuul (local php interface for mldonkey) here.. works very nice. Also my homepage works well with it (see link).

also samba server works here w/o problems (68k version).

if you have problems with apache or other GNU/BSD etc. ports then install the mos sdk.

hserv is my choice even braindead people can configure this one.
ftpd of choice is rc-ftpd, even when accessing the ftp-pages with ibrowse is impossible.

next step would be something that could support one when creating html-pages.
