is there a shoutcast server available for morphOS ? ive been digging around but didn't find anything.
I'll soon host a shoutcast radio station here (it will start next week, broadcasting from a linux box for the moment) but i'd love to use my macmini under morphos on that purpose.

I thought, I once read about a port of gstreamer for MOS. But couldn't find where to download now. It's not at Aminet.

Maybe you can take a look here:
    SelcoCast
SelcoCast is an Amiga streaming program and the version for aos3 seems to work well. I tried to execute the 'selcocast stream server' and all worked. I didn't test it more but there is a good guide on website with examples.

P.s: exiting from shell requires the classic 'ctrl+c'... :-)

A few months ago, i looked at icecast, and it looked relatively portable, except the thread layer would have to be implemented natively, and modifications may be needed if sockets are used across threads. But apart from that it looked pretty doable.

    So any volunteer? :)

    YOU !! ;-)

seriously, i'd be willing to pay for a port if i get to use it everyday.
an aminet radio plugin to stream the playlists to the server (like winamp does) would be fantastic too.

No, I'm already quite busy. ;)
Besides, scp and sftp already exist (not sure if they were released, though).

    Already running my Internet radio station @ http://planetrock.listen2myradio.com // http://78.129.231.93:8783/listen.pls // http://rockingplanet.blogspot.com

Would LOVE to broadcast throgh Amiga / Pegasos / MacMini but there is NOT any program that could do it.

SelcoCast seems to limited and indeed there is some work needed to have this running.

I am currently broadcasting under MacOSX form the Mini.

Hands up SERIOUSLY for a good payment / donation to any port under MorphOS.

Cause actually my first goal was to have a Peg / Amiga / Mac online doing this job hopefully under MorphOS / OS4.

But no software.. So I went @ OSX.
