    I dont own a pegasos, but leopard with a G4 seems not enought, 10.4 runs "smoothly" on a G4.

    Same here. Using Leopard on ibook G4, 1.25 Ghz with 1.25 GB Memory.

    Of course it depends on what you wanna do with it. I mostly use it for NeoOffice, Skype, Chat, Web and some tools like TrueCrypt. Using them all together is of course making the system a little slower, especially when the skype beast is running.

    I can live with it, but as I said. It depends on your needs.

    Compared to a Windows system, which is slow by definition, I never had an problem with it. Which keeps the workflow fast, while Windows starts to annoy me starting from beginning, when tons of virus scanner and of course windows update forces you to slow down, even if you just launched it to print a simple document. :)

    It depends on what you make it do.

    Antivirus is not part of Windows. As a side note, I never install antivirus on any of my computers, be it Windows or not.

    It's not mandatory, you can disable it.

    For ages I am trying to find a current way to run any version of Mac OS X on my Peg. Wish I could find a kind of guide / tutorial. I know there is one on the Big Pegasos Book I should re check it, but I need more stuff. I even have left a spare partition on the Peg2 for a possible Mac OS X install..

    CountRaven: I'm quite lame myself with setting up that kind of complicated stuff like MOL or PegXMac but with mention Pegasos Book it was quite easy to do. Worth of trying anyway.

    @Pampers: Yes I am reading the chapter again. For us who have managed to make the evil 1.4.5 boot on our classic Amiga a PegXmac quest should be more easy hahaha :)

    That's nothing else but true my friend :) If you are able to run MorphOS on your Classic Amiga, then you can do anything else.

    @magnetic

    Im still thinking 10.4 is faster than 10.5, anyway 10.5 have some "artificial" limit for cancel the installation on determinated cpu?s.

    @geit

    Some people tells about windows 7 run quite well on slow machines, maybe osx is overvalued.

    No, it's not. It's a Linux program.
