mmsclient why the verbose output?

    Downloaded a 5.7mb windows media file in Ram:
    Why the endless output in the shell window?
    Does it end?
    How long does it take to download a 5.7mb file? fast cable connection?
    I closed the shell as it was vomiting yet the media file was there in full
    Correction

    It was not there in full until a time period passed..
    Even though I closed the shell window the process kept going until the fi
    TIA :-)
    The verbose output are the individual packets being transmitted. I waited when the stream of packets stopped and was greeted with congradulations..the length of the stream determines the time/

    You can make dissapear the stardard output of any command redirecting it to the null device ("NIL:"):

    mmsclient >NIL: mms://...(url address)

    But perhaps, in this case, seeing the output is important, as it seems there's no other way to tell the process has finished.
