    http://rms14@dmz.local:rms4234@www.rmsvideo.ch/morphos/ does work in AWeb.

See 1st page of this very thread. Works here too, also in internet.

Really? Then, AWeb is smarter than the world's most used browser, which gets confused by the presence of two @ (the first for the domain in the login part, the second for the rest of the URL). Marcik said that HTTP authentication wasn't finished in Sputnik.

I saw nothing specific to http authentication after reading the whole thread. Could you please tell?

"in internet"? I don't understand. Do you mean Internet Explorer? Mine chokes at the URL you've given in the beginning.

Yes. I've no intention to tell bollocks. Just try for yourself.

Yes, "not finished" as in "no HTTP authentication requester" and maybe also as in "no domain name accepted within username" (if that's supposed to be implemented at all) obviously.
Funnily, if I replace the domain name '@' with a '\', Sputnik does open an HTTP authentication requester.

Click the link I provided and be led to a posting by dIGIMAN. Read it.

No, I mean "internet" as opposed to "intranet", as that's what dIGIMAN's posting is about.

Curious. Anyway, we just have to ewait for Marcik adding these details into Sputnik.

The one telling about the "http://user:password@host"? That's nothing new, it was me who suggested passing the credentials in the URL, instead of using a login dialog box.
Or perhaps you mean another post by dIGIMAN which I didn's see. Nevermind.

Well, URLs are no different thing for intranet and internet, I'm getting confused. Shall we end this useless discussion now?
