Got my first Peg (Peg 2) some days ago so now I'm a Pegasos user :-) but have used MOS since some time on my Amiga 4000

Today I finally got all the pieces to put it together, a brand new Ati Radeon 9250 and two 80pin rounded IDE cables

but as usual I don't have any luck as I often don't have when I have a new system, I'm trying to boot the MOS 1.4.5 cd I got with the system and following the guide here http://www.morphos-news.de/beta2help/qstart_se.html

But all I get is this :-?

Forgot to add that I have a 40 gig Samsung hd connected as Master to the primary IDE port and a cd-rom to the secondary IDE port as Master

the filesystem error is probably normal in your case (as the hd is not installed yet and the firmware wants to boot from some partition (which probably doesn't exists yet))

About the other error after your user input:

the command is "ls" (L-S) and *not* "1s" (One-S).

Hope that will help you to get a step further. Following the guide is an good idea already and usually you should be able to get the thing running in no time. :)

So are you psychic or does that smiley have some meaning that I'm not aware of?

hehe, haven't got that far yet....

Now at least I can boot MOS from the hd which is only recolgnized as 8bb (looks like the old WB hd recognition)

Next step is a big portion of MOS upgrading and getting MOSNET to work with the bulit in ethernet

oh well.. approved the images. the system doesn't let you know at all if something like this needs approving or not. Maybe Targhan finds some option to disable this 'feature' ;)
