    What tool/program do I use to format a usb stick with sfs?
    If I try unitcontrol it only scans the ide bus.
    Hdtoolbox from 3.1 workbench crashes.
    And only format command from ambient doesn't support filesystem change.
    It only wants it to be FAT formatted which it is now.

    You can use SCSIConfig to create partitions, just tell it to scan usbscsi.device eg.
    SCSIConfig Device=usbscsi.device
    Your usb stick should be listed then.

    No it won't show up this way.
    It gives a eror on startup saying:

    The device geometry.Totalsectors is 0 for unit 0
    Reloaded:
    Totalsectors=1981439
    Sectorsize=512

    If I click ok in this errorwindow it leaves me with the scsiconfig program gui with all buttons ghosted except the quit button.

    The usbstick is a valid dos disk though.Only fat formatted.

    Hmm... trying to remember how I did it here, I may have wiped the MBR with HDWrite before using SCSIConfig.

    Managed to get it formatted with SFS on my amiga4000 with scsiconfig.
    Don't know why it won't work on the peg??
    Maybe because poseidon is a higher version on 68k?
    Anyways wanted to get the stick going with usbboot to have clean morphos install for testing/debugging.
    But doesn't want to go what am I doing wrong?
    1 copy usbboot to c:
    2 format the stick with SFS...ok
    3 edit morphos:s/startup-sequence execute s:usbboot
    4 copy contents morphos cd to usbstick

    Now it boots and then stops.

    Ok I made some progress..
    I borrowed the sfsfilesystem from my amiga4000.
    I used HDInstall to get this onto the usb stick.
    Workes!.
    But still usbboot is a no go.
    Maybe I should use a ppc version off the sfsfilesytem?
    But where to get it?
    Where is the file situated in my morphos installation?
    At least I am able to get FFS and or SFS onto the usbstick(although sfs be 68k version.)
