    I just built MorphOS native Digital Almanac III binary. Since I dont have CD I cant test if it really works but please try it nevertheless :-)

    MorphOS native binary is available here (about 400K).

    Here are my SnoopDOS.logs - one when being online (then it looks for easyftp.library), one when being offline. Please let me know if you need further information.

    It should work without easyftp.library and shouldnt fail if it is missing. It can crash later though... If it is not present it proceeds and opens other libraries (xadmaster.library, openurl, jpeg.library (WOS version doesnt work)). Here it failed to load Data/mars.data (please enable more DOS operations from SnoopDos prefs). Shouldnt matter are you online or offline... but... I'm not very familiar with sources.

    Regarding easyftp.library it seems to be available nowhere. Couldnt find by google or from Aminet and had to construct library jump tables by hand... DA3 uses lot of rare abandonware.

    Bah! If I had the cash, I'd buy you an A1 to get proggies ported over onto OS4 as well... you seem to be one of the most productive developers out there. Cheers for the port though :pint:

    Is there a way to control some of current telescopes with DA3??? That would be cool!

    Bye, MarK.

    @senex

    Hmm.. unfortunately that is not helping much... it seems it doesnt even start properly. I assume you have complete DA3 installation there and it works with original binary?

    Hello, the easyftp.library is on the DA3 CD. The ISO can be downloaded from the Aminet!

    Hi itix

    "Here it failed to load Data/mars.data"

    here too with the original executables and yours as well.

    Have you found then why it fails at that mars.data?

    Here i can see(SnoopDOS) until the "Data/jupiter.data" and then nothing. (MOS and AmigaOS)
